Hospital Employee From MD Arrested For Alleged Sexual Contact With Patient In DC: MPD

Police say that a 62-year-old employee at a Washington, DC hospital is in custody after allegedly having inappropriate contact with a patient.

Metropolitan police arrested the worker over the weekend.

Cheverly, Maryland resident Titus Sunday Okechukwu has been arrested for allegedly engaging in unwanted sexual contact with an adult female patient, the Metropolitan Police Department announced on Monday, March 27.

The incidents were reported between Monday, Dec. 26 and Tuesday, Dec. 27 last year, according to police, at the Bridgepoint Hospital Capitol Hill in the 200 block of 7th Street in Northeast DC.

Okechukwu has been charged with second-degree sexual abuse of a patient following his arrest over the weekend.
